COAT OF ARMS OF THE PARDUBICE REGION

The top two fields feature the coat of arms of Czechia – the Bohemian Lion and the Moravian Eagle. The bottom right of the coat of arms proudly displays the symbol of the city of Pardubice – the fore part of horse with golden curb. Finally, in the lower left there is a silver gate with a golden globe i which represent the openness and richness of the Pardubice Region.

In the stonework of the gate itself, there is a lyre instilled above the gateway. This represents the numerous significant musicians who were born in the region.

Through the gateway, the plentiful blue symbolises the many lakes and rivers that flow throughout the Region.

LOGO OF THE PARDUBICE REGION

The logo represents the crossing of historic and current roads. It is used for the promotion of tourism and sport of the Region.
